News Coverage Barrier Support Project to Dr. Craig O'Connell & O'Seas barrier work summer 2023
Press Release November 2023

Cape Cod ocean Community, INC.

 We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit and community-based organization.
We believe coexisting with white sharks in the waters around Cape Cod can be safer.
We are working on facilitating shark surveillance testing projects again this summer 2024.

The Mission

Our mission is to establish safer beach recreation using technology to coexist with sharks.  We strive to preserve and promote the ocean way of life of those living, working, and vacationing in our coastal communities, without harming or otherwise negatively impacting marine life and balance.
Further, we work to minimize the public safety concerns and negative economic impacts associated with the increase in human encounters with white sharks in those communities.

The Vision

Revitalize the Cape Cod ocean way of life in a way that becomes an exemplary model for the world to follow.

The Action

Our role is to connect, collaborate, educate, facilitate, and inform within the community.

Help Us by Donating
